Savoy Deed Recordings Show Wide Price Spread, Bank-Held Transfers

Savoy recorded eight deeds between July 17 and Aug. 15, with six disclosing sale prices ranging from $786 to $331,603 and a median of $61,796; two prices were not disclosed. The month's top transaction was 167 Loop Rd, which sold for $331,603 on July 20 to Rocket Mortgage LLC and Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems Inc. Five of the eight deeds named a mortgage servicer or bank as buyer, and two low-value transfers, at $786 and $2,037, went to the Town of Savoy. The small number of recordings makes broad market-tone conclusions difficult to draw from this data alone.
