Savoy Deeds Show No Private Home Sales in Past Month, Prices Span $767 to $331,603

Eight property transfers were recorded in Savoy from July 10 to Aug. 8, with disclosed prices ranging from $767 to $331,603 and a median of $47,521 across the seven sales that included a price. None of the period's transfers were conventional private-party home sales: four properties, including two on Loop Road, moved from private owners to mortgage lenders or loan servicers such as Rocket Mortgage LLC and Citizens Bank N.A.; three moved from private owners to the Town of Savoy at nominal prices consistent with tax title takings; and one, on Griffin Hill Road, moved from a bank to private buyers at an undisclosed price. The month's highest-recorded transfer was 167 Loop Road at $331,603.
